Interptation support for GP consultations 

The Practice can request translation services for patients whose first language is not English.

The service can also provide a BSL interpreter to provide sign language for patients with hearing difficulties.Please advise Reception when making an appointment that you require this support, so this can be arranged for your appointment.

One You East Sussex Free Health and Wellbeing advice and support, including weight loss and smoking ceasation

Physiotherapy Information about how to see a physiotherapist without seeing a GP first. Also includes links to excercise sheets for common problems, and advice about using physical activity to keep healthy.
Pharmacy First Pharmacies can help with a number of problems without needing a GP appointment. This includes the assesment and if required prescription treatment for the following conditions

  • impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
  • infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
  • earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
  • sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
  • sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
  • urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged 16 to 64 years)
  • shingles (aged 18 years and over)

They can also give you advice on over the counter treatments for a wide number of medical conditions.

Other services they offer include

  • reviewing and answering queries about your medications
  • contraception advice and prescriptions (including emergency contraception)
  • Blood pressure monitoring.
