Carers
You’re a carer if you regularly look after someone who could not cope without your help, without getting paid for providing this care. The person may need care due to:
- an illness or a medical condition
- frailty
- a disability
- a mental health condition
- a substance misuse problem
Carers are at increased risk of developing their own physical and mental health problems. Please see the links below for details of organistations who can provide advice, help and support for carers.
